Any questions

By joining TRIBE, you agree to abide by TRIBE’s Terms of Service.

Spam is a form of platform manipulation. We consider platform manipulation to be activity that is intended to negatively impact the experience of people on TRIBE. This includes unsolicited or repeated actions. Spam can include automation and other forms of platform manipulation such as automated posts and fake accounts. Posts are those pieces of content created and shared across any online platform that is submitted or counted for points on TRIBE (ex: Instagram Posts, Instagram Stories, TikTok Posts, YouTube Videos, Blogs, etc.).

Spam will not be tolerated and any content deemed as spam will not be counted for points. Ultimately, it is up to TRIBE to approve or decline points.

You can’t mass-register TRIBE accounts or use automation to create TRIBE accounts.

You can’t artificially amplify points through the use of multiple accounts or by coordinating with others to violate the TRIBE Rules.

This includes:

  • overlapping accounts – operating multiple accounts with overlapping use cases, such as identical or similar personas or substantially similar content;
  • mutually interacting accounts – operating multiple accounts that interact with one another in order to inflate or manipulate the number of points; and
  • coordination – creating multiple accounts to post duplicative content or create fake engagement to generate points, including:
    • posting identical or substantially similar content from multiple accounts you operate. This includes all interactions and content tracked;
    • engaging repeatedly with the same posts or accounts from multiple accounts that you operate;
    • coordinating with or compensating others to engage in artificial engagement or amplification, even if the people involved use only one account

It is up to the discretion of TRIBE to approve or deny points per interaction and content tracked by TRIBE.

You can’t artificially inflate your own or others’ points. This includes:

  • creating multiple TRIBE accounts per rewards program
  • apps – using or promoting third-party services or apps to generate interactions, posts, or submit any form of content to TRIBE; and
  • account transfers or sales – selling, purchasing, trading, or offering the sale, purchase, or trade of TRIBE accounts, usernames, or temporary access to TRIBE accounts. This includes any account registered TRIBE.
  • sending bulk, high-volume interactions, posts, or any other forms of content tracked by TRIBE including (but not limited to) Instagram Posts, Instagram Stories, TikTok Posts, YouTube Videos;
  • posting and deleting the same content repeatedly;
  • repeatedly tagging brands or posting identical or nearly identical pieces of content, especially in quick succession;
  • repeatedly posting content consisting of links or simple lines of text shared without commentary; and
  • Posting an existing phrase or content in a duplicative manner, whether individually or in concert with other accounts.

Anyone can report accounts or content by contacting our team at [email protected].

These reports are used in aggregate to help refine our enforcement systems and identify new and emerging trends and patterns of behavior.

The consequences for violating our Terms of Service depend on the severity of the violation as well as any previous history of violations. Our action is also informed by the type of spammy activity that we have identified. The actions we take may include the following:

  • When we detect suspicious levels of activity, accounts may be locked and prompted to provide additional information.
  • TRIBE may flag the account under question. TRIBE may contact the account and/or impose a restriction on the account.
  • Ultimately, it is up to TRIBE to approve and enforce any restrictions on an account. This may include (but is not limited to) a timed ban from the platform, an indefinite ban from TRIBE, or the removal of points.
